Nick Gereffi was a television casting director who was posthumously awarded the 2018 Associate Spotlight Award for the New York film and television market, one of the Casting Society of America's Artios Awards, one year after his death.

On the DC Batman television series Gotham, Nick Gereffi was hired as a casting associate for long-term casting directors Kim Miscia and Beth Bowling. Nick Gereffi had previously worked on casting for shows such as Master Of None (2015-2017) season 1,2, Power (2014-2015) season 2, and You.

Nick Gereffi was described as kind, heart-smart, and witty at MMC (his university). Nick Gereffi has also collaborated on theatrical projects with a roundabout theatre company, Junkyard Dog Productions, and many others.

Nick Gereffi was also a co-founder and artistic director of the Indigo theatre project, which began in 2013.

Because his family has not disclosed Nick's cause of death, their privacy should be respected. Nick, on the other hand, is said to have died in December 2017.

Miscia stated in an article about the award, "Nick made such an enormous impact on all of the shows that he worked on during his all-too-brief career." We firmly believe he is deserving of the award a million times over."

According to Wikipedia, Gotham was an American action crime drama television series created by Bruno Heller, produced by Warner Bros. Television, and based on DC Comics characters, primarily those of James Gordon and Bruce Wayne, who appeared in the Batman franchise. The series premiered on Fox on September 22, 2014, three years before Nick Gereffi's death, and lasted three seasons.
