Hadiza Blell aka Di'Ja is a singer, songwriter, born in Kaduna state in Nigeria, on the 14th of August 1989.
Di'Ja's Music Career Journey.
The Beat Music Awards chose her as Best New Artist, in 2008, marking the start of her music career. In 2009, she released her first single, 'Rock Steady,' followed by other singles in 2012; 'Hold On,' 'How Can We Be Friends,' and 'Dan'Iska.' 'Yora,' of which she did in honor of her Nigerian and Sierra Leonean root, was released as her first official single, after being signed under Don Jazzy's, Mavin Records, and also featured on, 'Dorobucci,' and 'Arise,' in 2014.
In 2015, she released her EP, Aphrodija. During the Mega Music Nationwide Tour, the Calabar edition, in 2017, she dropped a hit single, 'One Talk.' in 2019, she released another EP, Omotena. After winning the Best New Artist, her single 'Rock Steady,' got nominated for Best Urban/R&B single, at the Canadian Radio Music Awards, in 2009. In 2014, she was nominated as, Most Promising Act to Watch, at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
Her music genre varies across; R&B, pop, afrobeat, and Afropop. She has worked with renowned artists; Korede Bello, Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Dr. SID, Patoranking, among others.
