Career

Gee Gee, who was raised in Buru Buru, has been passionate about deejaying since he was 12 years old. Although he had the means at the time to respond to the call, he first considered becoming a gospel DJ when he was in form one.

After graduating from high school, he made the acquaintance of George Mathu, who had practising facilities in his home. Later, he became a member of the sound crew at Nairobi Lighthouse Church and began spinning records at church gatherings.

After graduating from college, he signed a contract with Homeboyz Radio to perform on the gospel program "Trinity Connect," which he continues to host today.

Deejay Gee Gee was eventually brought into the Kubamba stable by deejay Mo in the year 2013, and as a result, he was able to secure a contract with Citizen Tv to appear on the program Bambika with his group.

His goal when he launched his entertainment business, Pure Decibels, in the latter part of 2017 was to mentor and train more budding DJs through the business's DJ academy.
