G Nako began his musical career in 1998 while attending Nangwa Technical School with his companion Bounako. G Nako joined another group named Nako 2 Nako (N2K) warriors lead by Isaac Waziri, also known as Lord Eyes, in 2000. While in N2N, Gnako was able to produce a lot of hit songs and collaborate with several Tanzanian artists, including Benpol, Msechu, Banx, Maua Sama, Mariio, Aslay, Rich Mavoko, and Mwana FA.
