Kambua Mathu is a popular Kenyan gospel musician and television personality best known for anchoring the seven-hour show "Kumbamba" on Citizen TV, Kenya's most-watched television station.
Kambua Mathu was born on November 10, 1986 in Nairobi, Kenya. She is the second of three children born to Professor Manundu and Evangelist Lois Manundu, co-founders of Tabibu Ministries.
Kambua Mathu started her education at Kianda Primary School. As part of her extracurricular activities, she joined the school chorus. Kambua Mathu then went to Lukenya Academy for secondary school. Kambua Mathu's affinity for music peaked in secondary school, resulting in solo performances. Kambua Mathu attended Ambrose University in Calgary for her higher studies.
